What would you do?

I was just sitting listening to music in study hall when some random girl shows up and gives me assumingly one of her friends' phone numbers. I know two things about the persons phone number: 1 her name 2. what she looks like AND THATS IT! I have only talked to them in person like 3 times and they are in none of my classes except study hall. Does this mean anything? If so what would you do?

She must like you but is shy. She want's to get to know you better. So if you like hrt too, why not give her a call?

I can only assume your hesitation to call is anxiety? The fear of awkwardness or long silent pauses. You obviously find her attractive (or else you would've tossed the number and not posted this question). The good news.... She is obviously into you in some form or fashion. The good news is you do not have to worry about rejection. I highly doubt she passed her number along so that when you call she can say, "not interested, leave me alone". So be happy, you have a chick out there who finds you attractive... Smile and let your ego swell :D... Give her a call... The worst that can happen is you two don't connect and it ends there.. back to not knowing each other.. no loss.. BUT, on the positive end, you could walk away with a really great friend or more.

So let me ask you this; what do you have to lose by not calling? A lot. You may find regret down the road, "I wonder what would've happened". You may have lost a friend, lover, ally, anything.

So what do you have to lose by calling? Nothing.

At the very least I would be cordial, and give her a courtesy call, i.e. "Hi, I was given your phone number by a woman, & I'm wondering if you asked her 2 do this, or is she randomely giving your # to people?"

That's a good way to start it out. It could mean one of two thngs. 1. her friend is randomely giving out her ph# 2. that she asked her friend to give you her Ph# because she likes you. Problem with option 2 is that shows a very serious lack of maturity, and confidence.

lots of times a person is attracted to someone but is too shy or self conscious to approach them. they send a friend to see if the attraction is mutual. if not, they don't get the brush off to their face. it's less traumatic that way. since you know who she is and aren't repelled by her, go ahead and call. set up a meeting in a public place for a drink (nothing that will last a long time if you decide it was a bad idea after all). see what happens. what can it hurt?

dial *67 then the number. ask who it is and say that you had a missed call from this number. then talk to them if they aren't a total freak, and then, ask the girl why she gave you the phone number. Because thats weird. if someone did that to me id be like "okay?" and do the same thing.

If you're interested in the girl, then call her; if not, then just throw the number away. The girl may be interested in you, but you'll never know what it really means unless you give her a call.
