I've met a guy in a cell phone chat room. I'm absolutely crazy about him we chat for hours on the phone and I'd love to meet him. Problem is he lives over a thousand km away. We've disscussed meeting and we probably will in a few months but that is only 1 meeting then what? It will never work but I can't help it I just love talking to him.
Am I beeing a compleat idiot here? Cause I'm falling for this man fast.

If you say it will never work, than that is what you are creating. What do you really want want out of the relationship? Have fun if you want, just enjoy the moment if it feels good.

Long distant relationships seldom work..I have been in a long distant relationship before ( did not meet in a chat room ) and I thought he was the love of my life,. This relationship cost me lost hope, lost love , lost trust . and last but not least a whole lot of money. We thought we were going to move in together, and at the last minute, he said I couldn't move down south because (one excuse after another ) boy what a waste of a lot of time.
Are you sure you are not just bored or lonely?? find some one in your area to chat with, that you can see in person. Don't waste years living in a long distant dream world.

i'd say you better slow down a little. I cannot form an opinion based on the few lines you write, but i can tell you this. If you want a relationship to be successful you have to live it, you have to go through good times and bad times. When you are (in person) with a guy, you get to see him in whatever mood he is at the moment. When you use computers or telephones, you can actually chose the time when you want to communicate, like, when you are happy and feeling good.

Theres no harm in having someone you can talk to and tell stuff to. Not to offend you, but sometimes guys say things over the phone, e-mail and txting, that they can't say to your face, which is a big problem because you think they're so sweet but they won't ever say that when your face to face, the other thing is that maybe he knows that it won't ever work out and he's just fooling around. But if he really sounds sincere oneday you'll make it work and you will meet.

That's quite funny because I'm in somewhat of a similar situation, except I live in a different country to her (though there is only sea between us). I honestly don't know what to do either, Ive known this girl for a several years but I didn't realize that I loved her till a little while ago. I'm not sure what to do either, but hope that we hit it off if we meet and go from there...

Be really careful....this relationship is not real....it is a pretend one.....you both can "imagine" anything about this person you want to. You are lonely and want a real relationship with a real person.
You would be much better off to find someone you can see all the time and stop trusting he is what you think...because that can be dangerous....and you might find out too late.
Turn him off and spend more time where you can make new friends.

only talking cannot decide abt love....the feeling ur in is other than love...first u have 2 confirm abt the person's actual profile and then ifs a positive report....u need many conversations for knowing each other deeply

my lady is 15,000 km from me --- i will move to her or more likely she will move to me (her choice) --- it is crazy and i love the situation and her very much
