Pick Up Your Cross
1st verse:
Remember the words Jesus said:
Pick up your cross and follow me.
Jesus picked up His cross,
And then we hung him on it!
So don’t be afraid
When you’re persecuted.
Remember the cries
Of the lost in hell.

If you did not know suffering, would you seek an end to suffering?

Is there suffering in solitude? The joy is in the Journey. The Journey, usually, begins with a seeking to end suffering. To find Joy.

"Like the members of every other religious community, we Pagans have the right to define ourselves and to demand that our definitions, rather than (or in addition to) those invented by individuals and institutions hostile to us, be quoted or referenced when we are discussed by the mass media.
Like the names of all other religions and their followers, “Pagan” and “Paganism” deserve a capital letter, just as “Buddhist,” “Christian,” “Protestant,” or “Bahai” do.
Like other general terms for religions, “Pagan/Paganism” requires modifying prefixes or adjectives in order to communicate specific approaches, denominations or sects. "

I must correct a falsehood in your statement, Buddhism is only mentioned by the First Noble Truth and is therefore included as proposing suffering. Wrong Assumption.
If you had followed the True message you would realise that the Lord Buddhas True message is ALL FOUR Noble Truths. By the Fourth Noble Truth you would then know that in fact Buddhism is the only one which proposes AN END to Suffering. The Fourth Noble Truth...to end suffering follow the Eightfold Noble Path.
Peace from a Buddhist.

Well in Islam suffering happens to those God love
See, when you suffer, you get a reward for patience..
we believe that life is not a game is not just anything..life is an ongoing test, to test our patience, our devotion, our faith..
in a way, in this life when we suffer it is a way to repent from our sins..
See, the prophets were the most people who suffered, then those of the followers then those after the followers..
But it is not a way to find the Creator..

i think we all know that is there is only one creator and the same is the destroyer.yes we all suffer to find the creator. who knows when we die we may see him or we may not.
in vedas it has been said that there a person who thinks good for every one and takes up his responsibilities sincerely even though he is suffering by many things not having enough of money, food etc the basic requirements but he donates everything without being jealous of anything.i think those eyes can see God when he goes to heaven.
i thing in the mordern day world everyone is desire is one thing that one kills every one which means that mans desires are never ending in this world.
like one said
World is a stage,
man is an actor,where
God is the director.

No! Jesus spent His public ministry healing people and freeing people of their suffering. If God wanted the people to suffer, Jesus would never have done that.
God did not want Jesus to suffer and die on the cross. Jesus saved us not because of His suffering, but by becoming one of us as a human. His whole life was one of redemption or showing us how to live from His quite hidden ordinary life - like most of us live - to his horrible death - which many experience. Jesus shows us God in that our God is One who suffers with us and Who does not let suffering determine how we react to life.

In Wicca, joy is seen as the way to reach the Divine:
"Let My worship be in the heart that rejoices, for behold, all acts of love and pleasure are My rituals." -- from The Charge of the Goddess
There is no doctrine that I know of in Wicca that suggests suffering as a way to reach the Creator.

what makes u think that all religions propose suffering? If you want to find The Creator. Open your heart and mind, don't let anyone interfere. Ask for His guidance and He will lead you to Him.

Er.
All religions do NOT propose that suffering is the way to find the "Creator".
Where do people come up with this stuff?

You find when you seek. Those who suffer, earnestly seek God. They pray to Him to rid them of their suffering. (Most seeking is for this 'relief from suffering'). Those who do not suffer do not seek. May be they do not feel the need to seek.
