I have been so stressed with going to work full time and school (college) full time and trying to have some kind of life with my boyfriend. I have been so ill and sleepy....its like not matter what I can't get enough sleep. I just feel so bad all the time. My house is messy because I never have time to clean I never have time to see my family or my boyfriend. I am just so stressed. Is there a way to destress? I don't have a choice about going to school and working.

Well, I can tell you from personal experience that your in a bad situation. My girlfriend has been like that for the last year and the only reason we've made it through is because I have the attitude of "schools first, and I understand". I can give you a bunch of ideas to "chill out", but their only a temporary fix. The permanent fix you may not want to hear. You have taken on a HUGE load and realistically you have overloaded yourself. The best solution is to lighten your load. When choosing classes don't simply choose to succeed, choose to love. Pick classes that are condensed (once a week, etc). Try to schedule yourself so that you have free days. My girlfriend has to put in 10 hrs a week in the theater (theater major) doing work, in addition to 12 credit hours and a 40 hour work week. Life sucked for awhile. After some convincing, she managed to set her schedule so every friday (with the exception of work), she has no school and can sleep in, thereby leading into a light weekend.

So my advice to you is to take a better look at your scheduling and try to condense in and allow for free/decompress time. Another helpful thing, in between terms try to get away for a weekend (even if its just a drive to another city to get a hotel and relax).

Try scheduling yourself 15 minutes a day to sit in the quiet and calmly sit, paying close attention to breathing deeply and slowly in big and out slowly but completely. Think about what you need to get done that day or what you may have already gotten done. Then think of an order in which to get done what you need to still do, taking time too, to appreciate yourself for what you have already done. Don't let yourself get spinning over the seemingly overwhelming tasks and try to put things in a better prospective. You are searching for the proper balance and need to find this order before you make yourself sick by being so stressed. Make that time for yourself each day and if the thoughts I suggested don't work for you, then think about something very calming and soothing to you. But you must spend that 15 minutes a day trying to find some peace. Quiet and deep breathing are a must.

time management. first things first. i can see that you spend more of your time in your work and study but give yourself a break. you should learn how to manage your time. *i hope that you mention what time you work and study*..

when i was still studying, i wke up 5:00 in the morning and go to school by 7.. my last class is until 3:30 but i have to stay longer. i'm the capt. ball of school's volleyball varsity, president of theater arts, a lieutenant in cat *which requires me to attend trainings* and i'm an honor student. i'm home around 7-7:30 everyday. i need a rest and i need to study right? so here's how i manage my time. i watch movies for 30mins or so *it depends if i'm not really tired*. after that, i'm going to take a quick bath i spend 10 mins for that. after my bath, i eat dinner while scanning my ORGANIZER. after eating my dinner, i'm off to study my lessons. if i don't have tests the next day, i do multitasking. text my bf or talk to him on the phone while reading my notes.

just share my routine for you to have idea. you can finish some of your schoolworks while on your work *if your not that busy* or likewise. and if you don't have something to do on sunday, why not clean your house on saturday night *believe me, it really works* since you're all tired up, give your last energy on cleaning your house so the next day you have your free day! spend that day with your bf or family. relax and enjoy.

you just have to manage your time. have this "things to do" and follow your schedules. dirty surrounding adds stress based on my observation. organize your things and pamper yourself a little. also, take vitamins. vitamins and organizer. a must have.
