I will tell you a secret I have never told anyone....

I can't swallow pills so I have to chew adult tylenol. Let me tell you NOTHING gets rid of the flavour but two things. One is weird.

A Quaker chocolate chip granola bar. Yep. No idea why it works but I am not about to ruin my system and not use them. Any quaker with chocolate chips works.

The second is grinding it up and putting it in a carrot juice based drink such as V8 Splash. The carrot isn't the greatest taste, but it gets you lots of vitamins and you can't taste the medicine.

And it really is a myth as for the honey, peanut butter, and applesauce. None of that ever works. As for milk, most of the time it makes it stronger for some reason....

Beers and Ales are an acquired taste, like most other things. Surprisingly, the person who recommended the Stout has the right idea. While it DOES have a rich, full bodied flavor, it is intended to be a "sipping beer" and the slow drinking of it will get your palate accustomed to the genuine flavor of beer/ale. Stout is NOT for guzzling, like Bud or Schlitz. At least not at first, and I don't know of very many people who would guzzle more than two bottles of a stout before waling away with a full, bloated feeling, as it is essentially liquid carbohydrates and alcohol. If after drinking one or two stouts slowly, letting it rest on your tongue, you haven't found the flavor to be pleasurable, you will probably never find beer or ale to your liking. Guinness is a fairly decent stout to try out but know that there are MANY stouts out there in the world of beers and ales, and many have some marvelously wonderful flavors with added spices and fruitiness's as well. I highly recommend a nice gentle Ginger Stout or even a tangy Cinnamon Stout. There are even floral stouts out there. The more exotic flavors are not going to be found in your local liquor store, for those you need to find a home brewer or a microbrewery. Brightest Blessings, Raji the Green Witch

I am afraid some medications it is what it is and nothing can be done. Try the old stand bys such as putting an ice cude on his tongue and numbing his taste buds. or using a syringe and put it at the very back of the throat if he doesn't gag it is a way to avoid taste buds.

Can you get it in pills rather than liquid? Sometimes crushed up pills in jam taste less bad than the liquid.
