Respected sir, If U R in India I can tell U one thing relegious fight is a wrong one but for the politicians that is the only arms to rule and remove the bad things in the minds of the people about them.
In the world for the US the capturing of the country is important so they use the arms namely the relegious fight to capture the other nation to seperate it and attack it with full strength and destroy the nation.

If you mean is it right to fight over whose Sky Pixie is the right one, then the answer is no. God will draw His People to Him, and the rest don't matter. However, a lot of religious fights are really about human justice. Those are indeed moral, and should be waged. Evil must be defeated in the world. THAT is the only real hope for peace and security.

Fighting in the name of religion is not right. Islam promotes peaceful dialogue among the people. It directs Muslims to invite people to Islam, to tell them about the religion to show them the light through proper and meaningful reasoning. This is the task of the Prophets {Peace Be Upon them All}.
And it is now passed on to the Muslim Ummat (community).
Muslims are given the right to defend themselves against opression caused by others but are not supposed to opress people of any communty.
What is happening in the world might lay a very different first impression but the truth is in the Qur'an.

The cause must be right. Then the fighting is all right. But all this fights whereas so called religious or not, are just cats and dogs fighting.
One who has got real conception of God, they have no quarrel with each other. All the history of religious fight, Hindu-Muslim or Christian-non-Christian, they are all ignorant. One who is in the knowledge, he knows that God is one. God cannot be Hindu. God cannot be Muslim. God cannot be Christian. God is God. He has no material qualification. You should not be fighting against relegion for it is not healthy and productive. All you have to do is to protect your relationship with GOD, how you dealt your daily life with him. How is your obedience, how do you live life with GOD and to others. And with humbleness in heart and with your full loving kind heart all you will see are all in line with what GOD want us to be. And if you can sleep peacefully at night it means you are in line with the right path.

GOD made man, but man made religion and has been fighting. GOD has not asked his followers or rather believers to fight for themselves or for any religion. Fight and qurrels are man made, but are not good
