I hope you don't think I am a nasty person as I don't think I am but I would appreciate your opinions on this. If you liked a person and you knew they had a boyf or girlf would you still try to get closer to them? I am not talking making a move or anything just trying to become closer after all if that person is the one in the relationship should that be your problem? Like all fair in love and war? Have any of you got with someone who already had a partner? Did it work out? I am just asking for peoples opinions, thanks.

You are definitely not a horrible person. If you are willing to deal with the consequences, then go for it!

However, if this relationship should work out - would you be secure in knowing how easily it was to draw that person away from their current boyfriend or girlfriend? Wouldn't you always be wondering in the back of your mind if it's happening again.

Treat others how you want to be treated. That's what I say.

all's fair in love and war. AND, what goes around comes around. u need to find someone else who is not involved. while u use all these sayings to rationalize your behavior, when it happens to u, and some chick is screwin YOUR guy, you'll feel like $hit. find someone else. it may take some time. but who knows, maybe that guy will become available down the road.
if u try gettin "closer" to this guy, he's just gonna bang u and go back to his GF, leavin u feelin like a $lut. is that what u want?

You are not a horrible person for wondering that. People could always use more friends and just b/c you can't date the guy doesn't mean you can't be really good friends with him =) Just be careful that you keep it entirely in the friends arena. If you step out of that circle people will become hurt and you will loss friends and respect.

stay away. it is not fair to there partner. the closer you get the more the guy thinks u want him and will eventualy make a move on you. and then his gf will find out, and u will hve to deal with her and then they will end up getting bck together and u will loose both of them. just please dont set ur self up for hurt cause u wil end up likeing him to.

you might want to keep your distance the closer you get the stronger your feelings will get if he likes you he will break it off with his girl but why come off as the bad guy if you don't have to wait it out but not to long you don't want to become pathetic and you do not want to be known as a man stealer either
