i have naturally light blonde hair and i tried to dye it mahogoany with wash in wash out superdrug own brand dye. Unfortunatly it went orange and now i am wondering if there is any way to speed up the time it will take to come out. I was thinking of using blonde hena shampo on top... would that be okay? thanx

IT'S SUPPOSED TO WASH OUT IN A CERTAIN NUMBER OF WASHES...JUST KEEP WASHING IT!!!

do not put henna over it if you want to fade the color as henna behaves like a cellephane wrapping around the hair shaft to seal the cuticle of the hair
in order to speed things up you can use dishwashing liquid instead of shampoo, we use it to remove most build up
I'm not certain just how much will be removed.
you did say it is a rinse out type of tint meaning it was a non ammonia stain and you didn't use a developer to activate it. if it had an oxidising agent it will not fully wash out but will fade fairly well

Wash it every day for a week but condition it thoroughly.Failing that go to a haidresser.
