How do you know that Santa is exaggerated? Because we HAVE the true record as well as the fantasy. The truth keeps the fantasy in check. We also have the truth about Jesus, committed to paper a mere 40 years after His death. Do you really believe that we could get away with a fake history of Kennedy today? Of course not! So why do you assume that they could get away with it back then?

I would just have to say that if Jesus is just exaggerated then why is it the desire of people to worship and praise him on a daily basis.... As opposed to SC who only comes around once a year for one day, The story of SC is based on truth that has become a tradition... The story of Jesus is also based on truth but it is a way of life for those who beleive and has been since his time on this earth it is not based on traditions, with each generation new traditions are created but Christ never changes!!!!!

Jesus is not an exaggeration, and tradition strengthens a family and their cultures and virtues.... keeping traditions alive is the only reason some people live... so they can keep their memories alive after they have died

Jesus is not exaggerated take a deep breathe and let it out then give Him thanks that you are alive Because it's truly due to him that you move breath and have your being it was Jesus that hung on the cross and died for the sins of the world and roses again

Jesus may have been a man who lived 2000 years ago and preached peace and good will. Anything else (being the Messiah or Son of God for instance) is 100% exaggeration.
