can you tell me what happens when you get a friend request in your mail box and you decide you dont want them as your friend, so you hit deny . will those people be able to know you denied them as friends or do they just wait for a long time as a pending request?

I don't know either

If it is somebody I don't know I check out their site
and if they don't have enough on it to let me know what they are about or if their site is about see how much money I made you can too
I just delete them cause what are they to you anyway

If it is a friend I would just let it sit there indefinitely
I have just let some sit there
