i read from several articles about the tons of golds looted by the imperial army of japan from its wild and ferocious conquest in asia...since the philippines was the last stop for the japanese forces because mcarthur came to finish the war in the pacific, many theorised that bulk of amassed golds and other treasures was left behind on the islands of philippines. can anybody confirm this?

Where would they have looted the gold from? Surely if there was any valuables in the area, the Europeans would have taken it back with them

when did Japanese have gold during the time of war... they got it from someone else as well just like the Spanish... if there was I'm sure someone has put their hands on them already....

i dont think so.... else it would have been found out with the amount of digging and construction since then.
