Just be careful with the chestnutty red in darker hair, you'll want to use a really strong color holding shampoo. I have darker hair and I went Auburn with a basic color holding shampoo and I lost the color in 2 weeks.

if you go blonde you should definately not do it at home, because it may go wrong and a hairdresser will know which sort of shade will suit your skin tone. But if your doing a home kit then I think a chestnutty/red will look great as your hair is naturally brown and this always looks good. Good luck.

check out the advice on the back of the dye packs they want you to be happy with the product so they will try harder and some can be contacted by phone so check it out and do your homework don't be in too much of a hurry as the results can stay with you for quite some time. Short hair is easier to look after and can give you a softer look it can be layered so that it will appear a lot fluffier and not so flat but do get it done by a professional who has time to fiddle with it until you are really happy

because your hair is so dark it has a lot of natural red pigment meaning you cannot achieve ashy toned color simply by tinting it.
remember that tints (permanent hair color) only have the power to lift color 3 levels at most without pre lightening
you could easily achieve an auburn tone
you might also consider using highlighting kit for darker hair, L'Oreal is my favorite store brand and they have many different products

Soooo, ur going to would desire to apply everlasting shade or lightener. If u use a semi shade, u can purely deposit, no longer improve. there is no ammonia in semi/Demi everlasting hues. U can tone out ur golden tones with a semi/Demi shade, yet greater advantageous than probably it is going to come out darker then what u r eager to attain. If u circulate the everlasting shade path, it is going to nonetheless pull heat, so u will would desire to get something to cancel positioned the warmth tones. Lightener is the main suitable thank you to circulate, so u can get that platinum seem u r wanting. If carried out the excellent way, ur hair won't get broken from bleach. wish this facilitates!

Go red, to bleach your hair to blond will damage it. Plus its winter so blond isn't really the thing right now.

I would look at your face shape. if your face is long then maybe a bob is a good idea as it can make your face look shorter, and vice versa. If you have fair skin, go for light volours and if you have darker skin go for dark colours.
