I have a 57% in math and a 65% in English...Those classes are so hard to me!!! SOOO, my parents are angry at me b/c i failed 2 quarters. In order for me to pass I have to make an 80% or higher in both classes!!! Now, my parents won't even let me talk to my boyfriend.
When I got home my mother had a conference w/ my teachers, my mother went on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on AND ON!!!! So, I tried to keep the peace by going in my room and w/ out her knowing...She heard me talking under my breath and came in my room...She then began to go on and on and on and on and on...She left the room, and I sat on my bed dissapointed in myself and angry and CONFUSED. She came back in the room, and started again, and i was already ANGRY...I didn't feel like n e one else so she was like clean up this room NOW! I started snatching stuff and threw some stuff on my bed, and it just so happend my radio got thrown on the floor in my anger. She called my dad and he is coming HOME! AHHHH

Stop acting like a baby and get your grade up! Ask your teachers for help during study hall if you are having trouble with the homework. Or ask your friends. There is no excuse to fail!

This shouldn't have to be said since by your mother going on and on and on it probably already has been said, but you've brought most of this on yourself. If you'd do what you should be doing instead of what you want to do, or at least do it first, then you wouldn't be having such a hard time of things. Do your homework, studies and chores like cleaning your room before anything else. Once and if you get those done and out of the way, then whatever time might still be available can be used to do what you want to do. Life is about taking responsibility to do what you need to do before doing what you want to do.
By moping around and getting angry you simply add more to your burden and accomplish nothing to boot.

Are you failing because you aren't trying- or because you don't understand the subject?
If you truly don't get the material, ask your parents (or the teacher) to find a tutor to help you understand better.
Your Mom is only concerned that you have a bright future, and she feels that education is the way to have it. Try to stay calm. I know how hard it is, but anger & yelling never help!
Good luck to you. This hard teen stuff will soon be over, keep telling yourself that!

Well I don't know why your going through this. But, I can say this. This all starts with your grades. If your school has after school programs, you should go to them, they helped me. Also do a bit of studying, or have a friend or one of your parents write down some questions for you to answer, that would help also.

hi,
take you punishment with a grain of salt, then prove to yourself and your mom that you can do the work, tell her that you want to do better and that you are just as disappointed in yourself as she is, then ask her for a tutor to help you understand the two subjects better. pulling up your grades will help her to see that you are trying, and you will be able to talk to you boyfriend sooner then you think once she sees that you are really into making good grades.

ask your parents to get you a tutor or take you to one of those sylvan learning centers or something like that. you need to get your grades up and don't be afraid to ask for help. maybe they'll lay off of your if they know you are interested in improving. yeah i know... being a teenager sucks sometimes --but you need to get good grades in school now to get to a good college so you can have a decent future.

Honey, all kids go through this. It's best just to listen to your parents and what they say. No need to disrespect her, it'll only get you into more trouble! Hope this helps! :)
