If it's a Kryptonite lock oftentimes they are able to send you a replacement key. You could at least call them and find out before you bust the lock!

You don't bust open these locks that is the whole point, The best option would be a junior hacksaw but if this lock is a good brand then you will go through several blades and several hours most likely before you get through it. Just be carefull not to damage the bike when sawing, and next time make sure you have a spare key!!

The safest and most inteligent alternative both for you and your bike is to call a locksmith.
He will make a replacement key which you can copy, or get a new lock after the old one is open.
You will probably need the locksmith anyway to open or make spare keys for the ones you lost, isn´t it so?

With great care is my advice. Im assuming you have a good lock to keep your bike safe! You could try a hack saw this will be slow but probably the safer bet over other methods suggested on here, or if its a good lock you may need to try a lock smith but that will cost you. Next time keep a spare key elsewhere......

Some of these locks are able to be opened by jamming a Bic Pen into the end, forming a key.

A chainsaw will not work, What you need is a small angle grinder. You can buy one for less than £10 but be very carefull, they can be very dangerous in the wrong hands. Ask someone to do it for you if you are not sure.

How did you lose your keys? Maybe you're just not looking hard enough. Or maybe go to a locksmith maybe they'll have a key. Or why don't you go buy another one and use the key from that?
