Every american life and dollar will be wasted...yet the monsters in Washington DC will never be charged with a crime.

US servicemen are being lied to as is the majority of the American Public. Without the internet, you get lies on tvs, in newspapers and on radios.
They have no idea of the truth ( citizens and soldiers) . They believe what they are told, but NOT all of them are so ignorant and without any wisdom or self thought !!
It isnt the people that are dangerous, its the government which is also a danger to the citizens , and the majority of citizens are working so hard to pay for homes and taxes, that they cant find time to see the truth, they eat , sleep, work, and continue in this pattern to survive in the US, never seeing how awful the government is, and when faced with the truth ,they cant handle it.
There are Innocent americans, just like innocent iraqis.

The US soldiers are fighting terroristic regimes that threaten world peace. Saddam Hussein posed a great threat to the entire planet. WE GOT HIM!!! If (insert whatever crap hole country you're from) ever had any problems like the Iraqi people did, I'm sure the US would come save yall's sorry asses. Due to the current state of terrorism in the world, the planet needed a worldwide peace keeping force, somebody had to step forward and "take out the trash", so the good old USA did it again.

Not all soldiers are the same. Many of them enlisted in the military without expecting Iraq's war, thinking their service would be smooth, training in a few military bases and going off to college with a good schollarship. Others enrolled the service, not to many, because they sincerelly or naively believe that are liberating Iraq or perhaps defending our country.
It is a fact though that the rich is dodging the military because they don't need that money to succed in life.
This war is lost since the time right after Bush ousted Sadam Husein, when the insurgents went back to make a constant blodshed in all Iraq, and every day that passes U.S.A. looses the war more and more, at a rate of 11 millions dollars an hour mantaining those troops in Iraq, plus all the constant wear and tear of our military equipment that is almost obsolete after five years of hardship, plus our two or three soldiers a day that get killed in that hell.
Have you figured how much money is costing this war to the insurgents? Practically nothing compared to the fortune we are wasting. That's the trick. Cheap labor, or cheap warriors, whatever you wanna call them.
Have you figured how much is gonna cost us the medical attention and welfare of our wounded soldiers during their lifetime?? The insurgents, as far as I know, don't have that worry, they are "disposable".
The damage is done and nobody is gonna fix it, we are doomed to be in Iraq for decades, but not as victorius, but loosers. No one is going to win, not us, not them. Just like Israel, an infinite conflict. And is going to spread, though.
Some day we will have in the United States, exactly the same scenario that we have in Iraq right now. Is just a matter of time. How? That's a different topic that does not even have nothing to do with Muslins, but with undocumented workers.

I served 7 years. During run upto the first gulf war there was a bunch of noise about that it was all about oil or NO it was about restoring liberty and democracy in Kuwait (a monarchy). I couldn't have cared less about all that. I raised my right hand and took an oath. The Marine on my right and the Marine on left counted on me to be a flat out warrior. It didn't care half as much about that pesident Bush as I did about the Marines I served with. Let the civilians fight it out and let the warriors fulfill their oaths. People on both sides of this argument steal their sacrifice and hide behind their courage when you try to politicize or partisancize their service.

Was this question around when America was taken by surprise from Japan? granted, the purpose of fighting the wars are of a different nature now. and does the service man or woman have a choice in the matter? i would say no and from all i can see there appears to be that our men are choosing foreign women to mate with. i would be more concerned for the reason why, they are turning away from American women.? can anyone really answer the pondering in my mind too. It appears to be a breading thing waring for breading rights....

The bottom line is if we don't keep the terrorist and insurgents from taking over Iraq they will be over here attacking us. By us being over their fighting we are making it so that people just like you can sit and complain and wine and analyze every move that has to be made. Go to some other countries and run your mouth and see what happens. Alot of govts don't allow freedom of speech and the freedom to protest and run their country down. They won't put up with it and would hang you instead of listening to your non sense.

Rattle brings up a good question. Americans fighting in Iraq are not defending America because Iraq never attacked America. Ultimately, these young men and women in the military are serving the defense industries and the corporations not America.
