Take the wiffle ball bat away from him, take it to your mom or dad, and tell them that the next time he smacks you with it you're going to wrap it around his head. Maybe they'll get the picture and do something about it.

Well, hitting him back is only telling him its right to do this. He looks up to you ya know. Why not create a game where both of you can "playfully" hit each other with soft things like pillows?
Remember, he is only 8 so dont play too rough. He is actually trying to tell you what i just typed! Go have fun with him!

Just grab the bat away from him when he does that next, and immediately go to your parents or whoever is in charge and tell them what is happening. That way you shouldn't get into trouble and it gets taken care of. Hopefully.

Take the bat for a walk, and dont come back with it, he'll catch on when his stuff keeps disappearing. Worked on my brother.
