King David said in Psalm 131, "I have quieted myself as a child at it's mothers breast."
Did Christ mean we need to be unworried?
Isn't it our own doubts and fears, that stem from guilt and shame
for the way we sometimes behave, that causes us to run away from our Creators Love?

Children readily accept a fact. They readily and eagerly accepted Christ, no questions asked. Even today children that have not went run a muck at a very young age still accept the teachings of Christ without question. They accept and believe without being coached, prodded or nagged.

Hello Anthony,

I believe that Jesus meant that it is those who trust God in guiding them, knowing the whole truth of which humans know so very little, if anything, and those who do not doubt Him, as someone who can be compared to our Father, and therefore as someone who is in charge, wants the best for us, and ensures that those with a good intent will be harboured in his realm.

That is what children feel like about a good father, is it not?

I believe that the establishment of the church has disturbed this direct relationship between sincere humans and God, by trying to usurp power and claiming to be representing God, but by displaying selfishness and greed, and by describing God as some kind of a revengeful entity one should fear. That is where the child-father relationship got tilted.

Anyone who returns to God, not in a church, but in their hearts, can rekindle this beautiful feeling of protection and safety between themselves and God, the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.

Be childlike, not childish. Children love unconditionally. Children are inquisitive and learn quickly. Children are open.

As to being unworried:

Eph 4:6-7
Be anxious for nothing, but through prayer and supplication, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Notice He says rely on Him and He will grant you peace - not that He will fix every little problem that comes your way. Our problems, and how we deal with them, provide growth and teach us to love, trust, have patience. It is our tribulations in this life that allow us the opportunity to become better people.

Christ meant that we have to come to him, just as we are & as a little child, because when we first get saved, we are on the milk of the word, But as we grow we start eating the meat of the word, So we have to come as a little child, to him. Even if we are 80 yrs. old, when we Get saved at 80, God looks upon that person as being a little child in the Lord.

hi! Thereis a distinction between the dominion OF HEAVEN and the dominion OF GOD. on the time of Salvation, each believer gets the dominion of God via The Holy Spirit. the dominion of Heaven is the residing place of The Lord. maximum persons in the present day anticipate that the dominion of Heaven is the comparable simply by fact the dominion of God, besides the indisputable fact that it is not. purely as God and Heaven are no longer the comparable, the dominion of God and the dominion of Heaven are no longer the comparable. God is a spirit (John4:24), whilst Heaven is God's actual introduction (Gen1:a million)

The Christian congregation got its start with the kind, warmhearted Son of God, Jesus Christ. People were comfortable around him because he was loving and compassionate. When some began to bring their young children to Jesus on one occasion, his disciples tried to send them away. But Jesus said: “Let the young children come to me; do not try to stop them, for the kingdom of God belongs to suchlike ones. Truly I say to you, Whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a young child will by no means enter into it.” (Mark 10:13-15) To receive Kingdom blessings, we must be as humble and teachable as young children. Jesus showed his love for little ones by taking them into his arms and blessing them. (Mark 10:16)

NO. it is good to be concerned. But Jesus mean that you must accept God as a chlid does.

You NEVER hear a child say "If there is a God then why is the world in trouble?"

or say

"if you dont belive in God you will go to hell."

Thats what adults say. we look not at the big picture but at the little details. A child lives life with love. when they say "I hate you" they dont mean it. Everything is a prayer.

That is what God wants it to be like for us. HE wants us to love Him and everyone around us like a child.

In simple terms, praise God with everything you do by enjoying His creation with your whole heart and soul.

He meant that we have to humble ourselves like little children and submit to Him. Submission means loving, trusting, and obeying Christ. Young children usually have this kind of relationship with their parents.

Jesus answer was symbolic. Those who follow Him are to trust Him completely as a child completely trust their parents. Child like faith is to totally depend in and on Christ ledership in every aspect of our lives.

A symbol of contentment. The psalmist has been weaned from a self-centered life and thus finds quietness.
