I think the entire program is wrong, and the food is the worst quality ever made. Eating muffins, apple strudel, lasagna, cookies and dessert bars is what makes people fat-- yet those are foods on Nutrisystem, so you don't learn new eating habits.

Second, read the labels. How can your body be healthy and fit it you eat Partially Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, Whey Protein Concentrate, Lactose, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Disodium Phosphate, Rendered Beef Fat, Lactic Acid, Sodium Phosphate, Citric Acid, Autolyzed Yeast Extract, Artificial Colors??

Your food is mailed to you- how fresh is that?

We are still losing 3-5 lbs per week on Nutri System.....
Some of the food is nasty.. but not everything... Some of it is really pretty good!... Some of the food is ready to eat.. like the breakfast bars and the deserts.... others you need to add hot water.. others, like the dinners need to be heated in a microwave... When we get an entree that we don't like, I just choose something else for the next month...

We have gone out to dinner a few times, but we didn't splurge, and it didn't adversely affect our results...

I check out the nutrisystem recipe page and get ideas... It's not hard.. and you get used to eating smaller portions...
We are sticking to it until we lose 40 - 50 lbs... We expect it to take about 6 months... Just in time for vacation!
and you have to drink 64 oz. of water every day...
We have not been hungry since we started... and my husband has been able to handle it as well... he goes by the plan designed for men...
Cost is about $10 per day/ per person..and the cost goes down after the 2nd month...
You need to add fruits and vegetables to the plan.. so this is an additional cost...
Maintaining weight loss still comes down to controlling what you eat and your lifestyle...
We are saving a ton of $$.. before we would eat out for breakfast and lunch and sometimes for dinner... but I have a longer grocery list now..
Eating breakfast or lunch out is a lot more expensive than this diet...

good luck..

NutriSystem Nourish foods are designed to include low Glycemic Index carbohydrates and the right amounts of protein and fiber, yet to still be low in fat. Each one of them fits into the NutriSystem Nourish low-glycemic meal plan that's very easy to follow.

I had a friend who tried it and had pretty good results. he lost 35lbs in three months. The biggest downside would be the price. Pretty expensive.
