But I guess what you were really asking was what HK be like in 40 years. The two systems - one country policy was designed for 50 years. It's two to three generations. Who knows. China has made several quantum jumps in various areas for the better. So maybe in 40 years this discussion is irrelevant.

With how things are going on the Earth, I am more worried by global warming.
