The Murray runs along the border between NSW and Victoria flowing out to sea south of Adelaide in South Australia. The Darling, which is a longer river, rises in Queensland and joins the Murray in southwest NSW. The whole river system with all its tributaries is the Murray-Darling system.

Its the Mighty Murray River mate!
1600 miles long, it runs along the eastern side of South Aust. then through the New South Wales-Victoria border.
Its responsible for the Irrigation of the wine areas and fruit growing areas along its length.
