I would forgive them, but that doesn't mean I would stay with them. If it was a one time thing and they told me right away so we could work on rebuilding the trust, I would try. If it was a long affair or I found out from someone else, I would have to leave. There would be no way I could trust them again.

No, because whats to stop the cheating lover from doing it again? I've gone through this, and he cheated on my, i gave him another chance, and guess what!? He did it again! Every time i think about that, i get pissed off! Why did you cheat? Well, if you cheated, then you better drop down on your knees and beg for forgiveness! if someone did that to you, then she should be the one getting down on her knees!

That is a tough one.....forgive....yes.....but forget, never......thoughts like that are deeply buried. So many times I am sure those thoughts would come up at times of disagreements, sex, I think that is why relationships fail after an affair.....we forgive but the memories are there and are thrown up at times and it is hard to move on.

Never. Once a cheater always a cheater. Why would you have cheating lover when you can be with one that doesn't cheat?

nope i couldn't. i feel how can you ever trust them again? i just don't believe i have it in me to forgive and have it happen again. trust is a very importaint thing in a relationship, and once someone sheats that trust is broken

If it was the first time then maybe but I'd never forget what happened and he would need to earn my trust back again. If he does it again, he's GONE!!
