High levels of urea in urine usually indicate: Too much protein intake - r u taking in large amounts of protein or working out too much? Increased protein breakdown in the body - which is not good What medicine did he give u for 10 days? was it an antibiotic? which one was it, bc some people are resistant to certain antibiotics, maybe u need a different one. it could be a uti.(but they should have found bacteria in ur urine) Did they do a PSA test to rule out prostate cancer, to put ur mind at ease? Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test. A blood sample is drawn from a vein and analyzed for PSA, a substance that's naturally produced by your prostate gland to help liquefy semen. It's normal for a small amount of PSA to enter your bloodstream. However, if a higher than normal level is found, it may be an indication of prostate infection, inflammation, enlargement or cancer. Studies have not been able to show that routine screening decreases the chance that anyone will die of prostate cancer, but screening with PSA and DRE can help identify cancer at an earlier stage. Go back to the doctor and ask "what have u done and what is next", its ur body so u need to be persistant.

You have an Urinary Infection. The doctor will give you a strong antibiotic lioke Cypro and it will go away in a matter of hours. If you don't visit the doctor, the infection can scalate until reaching kidneys, be carefull. One thing It helps is drinking onion soup, try that is an old remedy, but it you still have to go to see a doctor and drink lots of cranberry juice.

For some reason your urine is a little too acidic. Try drinking more water for a little while, say a week.

I've had that before, it's called Cystitis. After I had my children I'd get it ever time I drank a soda! Cranberry juice helps immensely. Drink 8 oz. two or three times a day.

Sounds like classic UTI symptoms, when did you have your test, and was it in the Dr's office? I know they sell strips OTC. You should have another UA and you need to increase your fluids (clear liquids).
