my male gouldian finch is drinking alot of water. wondering if he is drinking to much!?

he is drinking about a 100 mL a day!! ive only had him for about a week so stress might be a factor. any advice out there??

Is he accually drinking that much water, or is he bathing in it while you are not looking?

I have 6 gouldians in a cage. Every morning they bathe and get water everywhere! They do drink a lot, but not 100 ml. If he is really drinking that much, I would take him to the vet for a check up.

They are native to Australia so they are probably used to drinking Fosters beer in the "oil cans". Get him to an AA meeting.
