I had a laporoscopy for endometriosis on 15th December 06. Since then I have had 2 kidney infections, one of my wounds from the surgery got infected & I haven't recovered & am showing no sign of getting my sparkle back. My doctor thinks I have got Chronic Fatigue Syndrom but I didn' think surgery could trigger it? Anyone else ever had a similar experience? I can only stay awake for a couple of hours at a time & it is destroying my life :o(

i have ME and i can tell you exactly why you are suffering this way.

ME usually attacks very motivated and active individuals that have very high standards. usually people who have been sporty.

a delayed recovery or consecutive periods of illness result in the body becoming deconditioned and thus unable to go back to the previous level of fitness, despite efforts to do so, you will feel that it is making you worse.

you need to restore your activity level very gradually.

it is a serious chronic condition and i have loads of tips and knowledge around it if you want to know more.

good luck!

I would obtain a second medical opinion. I have severe endometriosis and had two surgeries as a result but i did not experience anything like that afterwards.

I had ME when i was 14 after i was seriously ill with Glandular fever (this is common). There is a lot more to ME than just lethargicness. I was paralysed for a short while and my immune system was completely shattered.

It sounds like you may have some depression from everything that has happened though i would seriously consider getting a second opinion just in case your symptoms are related to your previous infections.

Do some internet research on ME too. It seems that your Doctor has just assumed this - have you had blood tests?

I was told that it takes upto 6 months to clear your body of the effects of the anaesthetic. that could be the cause of your sleepiness and tiredness???

are you eating a healthy diet and taking some daily gentle excercise? even a 15 minute walk in the fresh air can do you good.

also try some Blackstrap molasses (get it from health shops) its inexpensive about £1 a jar and it contains loads of good vitamins and minerals to boost your system back up. two teaspoons a day in your tea or coffee or however, will do you very good.

i do no longer think of so different than my dad while i became a baby. I see no longer something incorrect with it I purely have not finished it. this is humorous to push a homophobic guy or woman out of their convenience zone so i'd desire to do it sometime to observe their minds explode..LOL! In components of europe men kiss on the cheek as a greeting. men kissing is undesirable simply by fact our subculture desperate it became undesirable. i'm able to't say im comfortable with it the two, yet that is purely how i became raised. there is not any longer something inherently incorrect with a guy kissing lower back. LOL! why do people act like kissing has something to do with intercourse or sexuality. Its humorous how people prefer to tie each thing to intercourse.
