i believe because i have had many experiences of both giving and recieving such messags
i do not believe this is a gift but something that is open for all to develop
it is natural
and i have had amazing evidence of things , so it is not just a belief for me , but fact for me
Tv psychics and con men have sadly discredited the work of genuine honest people

this is not demons
and when people suggest James Randi , i suggest you look into the reasons why people do not take his challenge

Yes I do ! We all have psychic ability , some people can tune into their sixth sense better than others...it's called intuition! In the Bible, it speaks of psychic.....but they were called prophets. Also the bible speaks of gifts that are given and clairvoyance can be a blessing from God. People who claim to know the bible and deny that there are such people in the world with such gifts are fooling themselves and are saying they only believe bits and pieces of the bible that suits them."NAY-SAYERS" or" SO-CALLED CHRISTIANS" should read the bible again and open their eyes to what it's really saying, not what they chose to believe . I do agree that the devil has his demonic gifts as well...but that is not what the question was about...it was about PSYCHICS I believe. In the world of spirituality you can not be closed-minded.You can not believe in God and angels and the devil and his demons without believing in their power and gifts whether it be good or evil...and clairvoyance is one either way you look at it. Closed-minded people are called IGNORANT for a reason !!!!! They only see what they want to see, not what is right in front of them.A TRUE BELIEVER BELIEVES !!!!!!!!!!! You also have to consider police use psychics to solve cases sometimes that they don't even have a clue about....and that's a fact!

Yes. For all the talk about it being impossible or that it's silly to think so... they can't really back it up. No more than the test studies can prove, scientifically, that it does exist. But I believe there are very few who actually have any control over it or even understand what it is. Psychics like Edwards are a dime a dozen. No better than these TV Evangelists who beg for money on TV. Psychics just get into your wallet from a different angle, but they both play on people's emotions.

There are a lot of people that claim to be psychic and are just conning the public.

There are also a lot out there that are realy psychics, if you want to call them that.
They truly do Know things, but they don't get their info from God. The devil knows his plans in certain things, he knows us all and our weaknesses, and he knows what has happened in our lives. Why wouldn't he? He has beenthere for it all. He knows who to use (as a psychic), because he knows each of us. He knows who is willing to go against God and play his games. He whispers the knowledge to these people and they in turn believe, by deception that they just received a revelation from God.

There is so much more to it than I would have time to write it out, and anyway no one wants to come in here and read a whole book.
Just remember that the Bible is against any form of witch craft and psychics fall in that category.

I think there are people who by the grace of God can perform some unbelievable feats.

Like a doctor who goes with his gut instinct to save a mans life and succeeds.

Like the mother who feels when her child is being hurt somewhere, and has dreams for telling her of her child's whereabouts. (my mother)

These are ordinary people, people who when informed by a greater force, do extraordinary things.

Are they psychic? No, they're just being 'informed'.

And this isn't something they can claim ownership to, or have a degree in. This is something that comes from God and is there as long as He wishes so.

Yes. It's cerrpy to think that, but then a long time ago it was creep to think the earth was flat.
I think people can develop a 6th sense. Some people can sing, some can't. Some can dance, others cannot. Same goes for writing, doing math, having charisma, being kind, being mean, angry, strong, etc. It's what you choose to develop or are able to develop that you excel at. Nothing more.

No-one has psychic powers.

The people you hear about come in two types:

- Deliberate scams (like Edwards and Browne)
- People who are so out-of-touch with the world around them that they don't notice that they really don't have any powers.

Yes there are many. The most skilled are the most quiet about it.

It's not a 'gift or talent from god' but normal evolution of humans as we learn to use more of our right brain lobes.

If you read the Bible it is called an abomination.
They were call different names like seer and diviners. Satan does this so that we will believe in false prophets. God alone knows the future.
