Eating before you go helps. This works great though, after drinking an alcoholic drink, order a glass of water and drink that. Make every other drink a plain glass of water and rotate between the two consistently. It will also save you from a hangover.

There is none! The more alcohol you drink the drunker you get, period! Just slow down or mix up the night with some soda. If that is gonna be a problem for you then call Alcoholics Anonymous. See you there friend!

Eat food like pizza. The alcohol will get absorbed by the food instead of your liver. Drinking water also helps and keeps you from getting hungover, but you'll go to the restroom often.

Eat something that will absorb the alcohol, like bread or pasta, and some cheese. Then the standard advice I've heard is to alternate every other drink with something non-alcoholic, like soda or water.
