I woke up this morning with a bunch of weird little red bumps allover my hands and they sting. I don't know if this is related ,but my throat started being sore just the day before. I was wondering if it was somekind of rash.

Strep throat is the cause of Scarlet Fever, which often appears as a rash like you are describing. However, there are many other communicable illnesses that you could have contracted. They all spread like wildfire in the winter, when people are closed up together, and if you are around kids, you are even more likely to catch any number of things. Go to the doc and get checked. Not all rashes are allergic in nature. Watch for and treat any fever with aspirin or tylenol. Push fluids, and try gargling with warm salt water until you get in with the doc. If it gets worse before then, or if you have problems breathing, call 911 or go to the ER or minor emergency center (usually faster, less expensive). Also, don't let anyone eat/drink after you, use own dishes/towels, etc.

it might be..just make a list of the new staff you eat and touche for the past few days..and eliminate them you should feel relief within 4-5days(take extra vit C to help you clear the reaction)...after a week or so try to introduce them one by one and see to what you reacted to.
