I have some plain bagels, my fella wants a snack. what do i put on them?!?!
I have basics in my cupboard, cheese beans, sandwich spread, jam, marmalade and so on.
Ive never, ever, ever done a bagel before so i am stuck!!!

I top mine with pepperoni, mozz. cheese and marinara sauce for mini pizzas.... MMMMMM damn good !!!
Another one I do is top with cream cheese, thin sliced turkey, onions and feta cheese.
OH gawd now I am hungry !!

I like to make a bagel sandwich with mine. with mayo, lunchmeat and cheese. or for a breakfast type bagel sometimes I butter it and microwave until the butter is melted. Or use plain or flavored cream cheeses.
Ask him what his favorite bagel topping is out of the things you have.

Before you put these toppings...toast the bagels. There are so many choices. You can go with the obvious and put cream cheese. But you can make other choices-I've tried them all and they taste amazing! First, you can put butter and let it melt, and then put mozzarella cheese. Another recipe is putting the same thing and put any kind of ham, then put lettuce and put another bagel slice on top. Or what my mom and i do, we put melted peanut butter. Those are only some choices. THERE ARE SO MANY MORE! Go with your own style, but no matter what they'll taste great!... ONE GREAT RECIPE I LOVE IS PUTTING NACHO STUFFING. YOU KNOW, COOKED GROUND MEAT, CHEESE, AND CHOPPED VEGGIES...AND IF YOU WANT, SPICES AND SAUCES.

i put cream cheese on mine in the morning. if i have one for lunch or a quick snack i make a bagel sandwich with avocado,sprouts, capicolli, and a little bit of ranch dressing

Try the Food Doctor bagels from Tesco,
Toast them first, add ham, cheese, coleslaw and salad.

Toast the split bagel
Spread generously with cream cheese (Philadelpia?)
Top with bacon crisped under a grill
Drizzle with a little honey.

Treat them like a cross between a toasted teacake and a bread roll. So you can do the simple by cutting them in half and having them toasted with loads of butter, or my boyfriend likes them American style with cheese, ham and salad.

beans with melted cheese is nice my fav is cream cheese with herbs and garlic with ham mmmmmmmmmm.if you get the cinnamon bagels there lovly with hot fried apples.
