Everything from gun calls to fights between 6 year olds (yes some people do call the police about this) to motor vehicle collisions to domestic disputes. That's the part of the job I like the most, you never know what you are going to get next. It is also interesting that it is also the part of the job that annoys me the most, when I have to be home on time at the end of shift (for a family dinner or event).

Some idiot with a video camera filming you doing something questionable and editing out what the circumstances leading up to your decision to do it were. It can apear to be unprovoked police brutality when you were just protecting yourself
