A lot of the criticism toward police comes from people that break the law. Yes, there are some bad cops out there just like any other job or business. But my experience is that most cops are dedicated to doing the right thing without bias and the right thing is frequently objectionable to criminals.

If you want to free the planet of police criticism, you have to start by cleaning up the police departments. Respect has to be earned. The police, generally speaking, are some of the most corrupt, dysfunctional people in society, and also some of the biggest criminals.

People want some one to blame for their own bad behavior...when people break the law it is easier for them to blame the police than to take the credit for their dumb act....so until we can get everyone to take credit for their actions we shall never be free from these types of attacks.
