Yes there is. I don't see what religion has to do with morality...they are two very seperate entities that have little to do with one another.
The recent homosexual scandals that have rocked the Catholic Church would make me wonder if the Church is against homosexuality or just doing the issue lip service.

I guess its possible - they'd just have fewer reasons to hate them. The bible is good at justifying all kinds of disgusting behaviour.

In general atheists are more liberal and they'd be hard pressed to argue why they were against homosexuality themself even if they didn't really approve of it.

No. I was watching an episode of WifeSwap and there was this atheist family saying that they allow gays and lesbians in to there homes.
