the options would be B+, B-, O+ or O-.
we do not know if the parents are homozygous or heterozygous, in other words, the parents could be BB or BO. B is dominant so if the child inherits BB or BO, he will be type B, if he inherits OO, one recessive gene from each parent, he will be O. the same goes for RH factor although that is a dihybrid cross so it's a little more complicated. In my case, my mom is A+, my father is B-, I'm O+ and my brother is AB+. So we know that both my parents carry the O gene.

Actually, it isn't quite so simple. If both parents have recessive O alleles, the child could be type O. The same goes for the Rh factor. There's no way of knowing if the parents are BB or BO or Rh+/Rh+ or Rh+/Rh- . A child born to these parents could be B+, B-, O+ or O-. Hope this makes sense!

I believe it should be positive but I would check with a doctor. Mainly because it is possible someone may be mistaken about their blood type or other genetic factors could exist.

Blood type is not only determined by the parents. Other genes play a roll as well.

If the parents both have B+ blood, then it is impossible for a child to have anything else.
