I'm looking for a website which gives free exercises or tutorials for better english communication and grammar.. I'm not that bad but I still want to improve.. thanks..

any website will do, just as long as u are reading it should be improving ur english.
read whatever u are intrested just make sure it is written correctly.
i dont know of any such sites, but i suggest reading online newspapers, wkipedia, whatever...

Ok, begin understanding by knowing that the first answer has many spelling and grammatical mistakes in it. (GRAMMAR, not GRAMMER)Non English speaking people seem to have the most trouble with verbs, as any English speaking person might have with another language. For example: "I should have went downtown." "Went" is a past tense verb, but cannot be used with "should have", which are auxiliary words. The sentence should instead read "I should have gone downtown." Understanding these verbs is something you can do only by taking many English classes and by understanding everything you're told. Spelling is also a large part of the problems, as English has got more words than any other language in the world. Even people who have been university English professors have terrible spelling, just because of the root word mix ups. (See my sources for a hard spelling test that EVERYONE fails.)
