First Jesus is the Son of God. It is said by Jesus in the word - Bible that only a wicked and adulterous generation asks for a miraculous sign. He also said that none will be given except that of Jonah. As Jonah was 3 days and nights in the fish so would Jesus be 3 days and nights in the heart of the earth. This is symbolic of Jesus that died and after 3 days was resurrected. Jesus did not do signs he did miracles

Jesus would not give wicked men a sign except He said the sign of Jonah. That they would see that He would rise again 3 days after His death. Yet we read Jesus gave plenty of signs to those He taught like healing the sick, raising the dead, etc. Only some one from God could do these signs.

IT is just as HE said a wicked and an adulterous nation seeketh a sign but the only sign that shall be given them is the sign of prophet jonah even as jonah spent three days in the belly of the whale so did CHRIST also spend 3 days in the heart of the earth they didnt believe that. so how much more would they believe these signs. no one can come to GOD except he is drwn by HIS spirit. GOD will not beg for HIS acceptance if you dont believe u will not see GOD for what HE really is. HE those that come to HIM much first believe that HE is and is a rewarder of them that diligently seek HIM. what people dont understand they will criticize

For one thing Jesus is The LORD God Almighty maker of Heaven and earth, He is Yahweh, The Everlasting Father Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:1-7)
But of your statement, "a wicked and generation seeks after a sign and none will be given, but the sign of Jonah who was three days in the belly of a fish"
The Jews wanted Jesus to perform a "particular" sign, for their own benefit, for their own eyes, one that they had already had envisioned that the Messiah should do, however, Jesus did not perform that specific sign, though he did many marvelous works and miracles and spoke to them words that no other man could have spoken. Yet they did not believe them.
Only faith in Christ will save you from this wicked generation. Only true faith believing and accepting his full salvation that rests in Him and Him alone, will save you from this wicked generation. No one can be saved by their own righteousness, nor by their own works, but solely by faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation will save you from this wicked and evil generation.
All who do not believe totally in Christ and in his salvation alone are in league with the devil, for anyone who does not believe in that prophet that I send, will be cut off from the land of the living. Only in Christ is this hope. Without him there is no hope.

Jonah became interior the tummy of a whale for 3 days and Christ became interior the middle of the earth for 3 days. (Jesus became in Hades preaching the best information of His lack of existence and resurrection.) once He rose from the grave He took everyone straightforward to God and commonplace His present of salvation to Heaven with Him. that is what they propose once you examine Jesus set the captives loose, or led a custom of captives. The wicked era were the pharisees that plotted to have him crucified via the Romans. The pharisees requested Jesus do a miracle. they did not trust that he became the Messiah. The pharisees needed information.

"Jesus": "made under the law": Galatains 4:4
"Christ": "the end of the law": Romans 10:4
"Ye are not under the law, but under grace".
Compare-i-son?
Morning star
"Bright and morning star"
It's all "allegory" in both "covenants": Galatians 4.
It's also "mystery" as told us over twenty times.
So then it's allegoric mystery to solve in time.
So "give more earnest heed" to what's been said.
For it's the requirement for "escape": Hebrews 2.
The alternative: "no escape": 1Thessalonians 5:3.
An evil(law) and adult-erous generation seeketh after a sign, and there shall be no sign given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. What did Jonah say in his Great Fish story? They that observe lying vanities (laws) forsake their own mercy.

What did Christ: "the end of the law" say of himself?
A "greater" than the (great) prophet Jonah is here.
Also a "greater" than the (great) king Solomon is here.
Moses' law was notably a "great terror"-ist to all Israel.
When it comes to "no sign", it's notably "this generation". Not to mention "he that betrayed him gave them a sign".
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Wicked people won't be convinced how wrong they are no matter what. Face it - Earth IS hell. We're already living in it. This is a prison planet, created to give us the chance to learn the magnitude of our mistake (listening to Lucifer instead of GOD) and correct it. So, that means that somewhere, perhaps very deeply buried, they already know the truth. Pride, arrogance, and/or stupidity keep them from admitting it.

You hit the spot!
I know it is difficult for most to believe with or without a sign. The wicked can see both sides of the aspect!
They know how to convince the ignorant mass otherwise and ignorance is evil!
