I'm quite frustrated with myself because I cannot express myself to ppl as much as I would like to, and because I am not friends with the ppl I wanna be friends with. I'm very frustrated with my social life and how things are going for me in general. How can I channel this frustrations? I cannot bottle them inside...I want to let them out...are there activities I can do to vent my frustrations?

I know of a couple that help. Try exercising or writing. These two ways help to get your frustrations out in a constructive way. -L

Of coarse there are, you can go where someone will not hear you and scream as loud as you can, until it makes you feel better, then there is always taking about it with someone, You can make clay figures, and smash them with your hand, you can write a letter to who ever is bothering you, and put it in a balloon filled with heliem and let it go , that is called letting it go. You also need to get youself to gether, and learn to relax, and just not be so up tight. You are right about what ing to get these feelings out, cause if you stuff them inside of you they will come out the wrong way, and you really do not want that to happen. If that don't work then go and see a therapist , an work on whatever is frustrating you so much;

Good on you for recognising that you need to let your feelings out. If it makes you feel better - we all have similiar emotions from time to time. If you are feeling out of sorts because of "the ppl you wanna be friends with" then perhaps they do not accept you for who you are OR perhaps you will not allow them anyway OR perhaps they are not worth it. Food for thought. There are many ways to vent frustration .. from punching a pillow to taking part in something you love. It is up to you and I sense that you are a much better person that what you may believe at this time. All the best.

Writing does it for me. You can try gardening too. Nothing helps more than getting outside with a rake and making a new flower bed. It's really hard to break up grass roots with a hoe. Put on garden gloves and yank out some weeds and grass. Physically, it's a great way to let off steam. When you get tired, sit back and relax and think. Sometimes what you are really mad at is yourself.
Pretty soon, you will be too busy to worry about corraling a few friends. Do what you enjoy doing and the right people for you will fall into your lap.

We are such a diverse country, and cricket is one factor that unites us all, save a handful of Indians... I'm glad we cry and whine and vent our frustration about it because it brings us all together. I'm not saying we should ignore other sports, I'm just happy that all of us have one sport in common that we can enjoy together... But, really, wouldn't you say the time of ignoring other sports is past us, by now? For the people, at least? We have people like Sania, Vishy Anand, Pankaj Advani, Samaresh Jung starting to shine in other sports, and we're paying attention to them, too, and obsessing over them, too.

Go to a beach or a cliff and scream it all out. Scream till your voice get hoarse.

Write everything in a black journal. Burn the pages if it makes you feel better.

Then, when you clear your head of your frustrations, try yoga to calm your soul...and learn how to manage your problems more efficiently before they clog up and make you suffocate.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

start a journal that you can write down all your thoughts in. This is a way that you can explain how you feel without holding the feelings inside. If that doesn't help, you may need to try talking to a family member you trust or maybe a clergy member. Good luck to you.

I usually do a few different things.....when i find im unable to get away due to work or home commitments.....i sing...loud....angry music...subconciously aimed at the person that caused my frustrations in the first place......

I kickbox.....takes away frustration and extra energy that i may have..............

Or i simply get away.....take myself of for a drive somewhere, which allows me to set my mind on the task at hand and logically work my way through the problem.

First of all try to workout to channel the bad emotions away.
try to manage your emotions. Read book by Daniel Goleman about emotional inteligence and by Covey about the good habits of highly effective people. You'll learn that is important don't take you so seriously. Accept people as they are and try to do the same with you.
Good luck
