Sponsorship has burned itself out - so many organisation doing it.
Try making out a good case as to why people should support you. What do you do; why do you need the money; why should they donate - that sort of thing. Design a 'flyer', get someone older to check it out. Then open a bank account in the name of your Organisation (people won't donate to a private bank account). Will the school or team help with this?
Print lots of copies of your poster - it may cost you a couple of quid, but at least you should get this back, if nothing more.
But look at the maths. £200 is not a massive amount. 40 people at a fiver, or 200 at £1. Once you have designed your form, post it in local shops; take it round to houses (but only where you know the residents,) or ask friends.
It is nice to see youngsters getting involved - especially in sport, and I wish you every success. Best of luck

Just pop down to the supermarket and do some bag packing you can raise that one day on the weekend. But you'll need more than two people.

Get a sponsor. My advice is you get someone, like your adviser, and seek for sponsorship from private individuals or businesses. Or else, you can just solicit funds from people you know.
