r they like chihuahuas??

I have had 2 Papillions and they are good dogs. But they do have long fur and need to be brushed at least once a week. Not too hard because they are small anyway. One liked people and other dogs and my other dog didn't like people or other dogs. Go figure. Both lived to be 13 years old. I miss them.

papillons are prone to blood diseases and such . Luxating patellas such as chihuahuas as well . The cost of a papillon where i live is around 2200.00 for one . I met a lady that bought one for 800.00 and it had liver problems and a blood diesease and she ended up with a 3000.00 vet bill right off the bat so please be carefull when purchasing one of these dogs. good luck .

go to AKC.ORG ..................... click on "toy group" and then click on papillion..... you can read all about them and even about chihuahuas and all the other breeds you may not have considered.
