dry biscuts in a bowl to have anytime, keep refilled and a kilo or two of chicken necks brought at butchers woolworths etc.
plenty of water, remember each dog is different also.
human affection and attention i beleave is the best diet we can give a pit bull,as they really are the most caring and loving dogs.
I hate the bad rep people have given them.if any dog is miss treated they will react in their defence as we would, but we never seem to hear much about those other breeds on the news and papers.
have fun with your dog, just watch the laws in different states in some areas you carnt own them,.they really are a great dog.

I feed my Pit Bull Canidae. Most of the dog foods you get in pet stores or at regular retail stores isn't good for your dog.
I get Canidae from a local feed store. You can go to Canidaes Web site and find retailers.
A good quality dog food can prevent future health problems.

Same as with any other dog. Find a high-quality, super premium food if you want to feed commercial pet food. Look at ingredients and make sure meat is the first ingredient. Blue Buffalo at Petsmart is good, also Wysong, Wellness, Nutro Ultra.... keep variety and add meat to the food.
Google and look up "raw meaty bones diet" it is the most natural for dogs.

Watch out for any food that has corn as the main ingredient. I find it goes right through my pit.
