I know it is a stupid question, but I was having a Super Bowl party and my cat just eats all the shrimp. I was trying to get the tail part away from him, but he just turned away and growled.

I'm thinking that if it was going to hurt him, it would have by now. Just keep an eye on him and take him to the vet if he starts acting sickly.

Well the only thing is the sharp part of the shrimp tail that can hurt him but I realy doubt it. Just make sure when you have the parties with the shrimp you may want to put several on his own plate with out the tails. And this will make you not so worried. Good question!

I'm not sure if it is bad for cats to have shrimp. You shouldn't give your cat table scraps. Onions are piousness to cats. So are root herbs. When you are having shrimp try to get caned foods that have shrimp in them. My cat likes Friskies. You should try that. Tuna is good for cats without manses. And my cat loves it. He also likes chicken and turkey.

I really don't think you should be feeding him shrimp unless it's shells are peeled and the black string thing is removed. Maybe tyou should cut the tails off anyway before you serve them.
