Is he fixed? You are more likely to have a problem if he is not. So that should be your first order of business. If he is fixed. Have you taken him to the vet? Cats often get urinary tract infections. If they get one they will not pee in their box, the dust from the litter burns them when they pee. So they seek out a new place to pee. Get this checked immediately a urinary tract infection can become a blockage and that is fatal. Even if he has an infection and you get him medicine he may still try to pee there because cats are creatures of habit. Which is probably why he is returning to the same place. Clean the area he is urinating on with lemon fresh Lysol. Cats do not like the smell of lemon. There is a spray you can buy at Petsmart called Boundry Cat Repellent. You spray it twice a day on an area that you do not want the cat to go. You have to spray it directly on the area and it stinks. I would also suggest putting some tin foil in the area. The cat jumps up there and jumps on the foil it will scare him and he may never return to that area. However, he might find a new place to pee. Make sure your cat boxes are cleaned daily. Do you have one box per cat? Each cat in the home must have their own box. Some cats do not like to share. He might have been ok with it and then he decided he did not want to share any longer, it happens. You can try using Cat Attract Cat Litter, also bought at Petsmart. You can order online if there is not one close to your home. The smell of Cat Attract makes cats want to go pee in it.. Do not give up on him. The number one reason cats are abandoned at shelters is urinating issues. I had this problem right after we moved and it two months to correct. I have not had another problem for 8 months so I know it is possible to overcome.

Last year my beautiful Manx cat Theodore went out for the evening and never came back. I love cats and the house didn't feel the same without one, so I picked up Lola from a rescue centre. She was very frightened and would pee all over the house. I found Cat Spraying No More on the internet and the techniques worked almost immediately. I haven't had a problem with Lola since. Amazing!
Can't stop your cat peeing in the house? Then worry no more...

you're able to confine your kitten to a small section because of the fact it should be re-clutter experienced. ideally, you're able to get a larger cage. This labored for me. I did this for a 6 mo old kitten that i chanced on. It did no longer take that long, perhaps a week or so. edit: that's what my city's animal administration officer instructed me to do and it labored. edit: My mom took care of my brother's kitten on an identical time as he became at uncomplicated education. The kitten stayed in between the bedrooms while no person became domicile. you're able to thoroughly clean the section the place a kitten is going the showering room exterior the clutter container or they'll proceed stepping into that section. they have good noses. There are good cleansing products available. i could bypass to a Petsmart or Petco. i understand they supply an incredible product because of the fact i'm making use of one. I do exactly no longer remember the call. Kittens are nevertheless studying. I easily have an 8 mo old. Cage or small room - mattress - clutter container - Kittens/cats are very clean animals - they'll use the clutter container. clean the clutter container a minimum of as quickly as an afternoon - each and each time that's pungent.

Spend more time on your setee, let your cats know that it is yours. Spend more time with your cats, make them know that they are yours , show them who feeds who. Fill a spray bottle with a 5-10% ammonia solution and spray the setee,(never the cats),their keen sense of smell will have them hanging out elsewhere.

They usually do this when they are feeling insecure or threatened in some way. Are there any new cats around? It's how they mark their territory, i had a dog that used to pee on me!
EDIT: Did you get him as a kitten or as an adult? He doesn't sound very happy, is he being bullied by the other cats?

this is what i got from a website [its on my source]
a lot of times boy kitties will "mark" their territory, and neutering them helps it stop immensely.just a thought.
everytime your cat pees someowhere you dont want it to lightly give it a spary of water from a spray bottle and then pick it up and pick it up and put it in its liter box so it can do its business there. only use the spray bottle as a punishment or it will fear you.
have him nuetered and have hm checked for urinary tracked infections , in which male cats are prone too, especially if he is on cheap food with a high magnesuium level, it will cuase crystals to form in his urinary tract
[ there are lots of other different answers check my source below]
hope it helps
