Jesus was tempted too...but he overcame them.... we too can over come them..with the help of Christ and his holy spirit that dwells in those who have accpeted Christ....

We must read the Word and meditate on it, that means to live bythe word and not just merely read it....

You have the power to resist any temptation. However, because humans have a sinful nature, we do sometimes give in to the temptation. Sometimes there's nothing you can do about it. Unless you become a monk and live away from society in the middle of the desert without food, water, or any other necessity, just living on the Word. Then you might be okay.

The older we get the easier it is to resist temptation. Not because we become more resilient, but because most of the time we have had a time in our past that we did not resist and as usual it did not work out. For example, getting drunk. Another good one is "just talking" to another guy, "my boyfriend won't find out, it's not a date". These little temptations always get you into trouble.

What temptations?
The temptation to kiss someone?
The temptation to hit someone?
The temptation to eat a piece of chocolate cake?
The temptation to run around naked covered in blue paint?

They're all different!

By succumbing only to the ones I really couldn't resist, at least that way I'd avoid a few temptations I didn't really need to succumb to.

Man needs to be controlled in every aspect of his life. Even when he is walking on a road side or using the wash room or in any where in his normal life including realising his temptations, man needs to be controlled. The best control is from his ownself. His own mind should control his behaviour. This can be done only in the Name of God & Religion. If you leave him on his own, he will end in things like AIDS HIV, Nuclear Bombs etc. He will perish on his own. Finally whether he is rich or poor, if he is white or black, whatever he is, he can live in Peace of Mind only by Total Submission of himself to the Will of Almighty God. This can be done by controlling himself. One man cant control another, This has to be done by Almighty God. That is achieved by the Holy Books & Messengers from God. These have showed us the ways to control ourselves & live in peace. Why do we have brakes in all the automobiles. To control the vehicle we need them.
Same applicable for temptations also. Problem arises when man's temptation of having relation with more girls are realised. Problem arises when man's dream of accumulating more wealth by any means is being realised. Problem arises when greedy dreams are given importance. So if everyone start realising their temptations now, the world will become a chaotic place to live in. ultimately man will perish. God knows the Best.

That would all depend on the temptation. If it is something that is not hurting yourself morally or physically or hurting others then go for it. It all depends on the temptations that are affecting you.

The real question isn't about temptations but about your religion:

How bad do you want it, really?

If you want it bad enough, you'll find a way.

I just think about what the outcome may be. I pray about it as well. I think it's not too hard to fight temptation if you follow your gut instincts about things.

The same as Jesus when he was in the desert tempted by Satan.
Assure I am clad with the armor of God and welding the Sword of Spirit. Daily Training is of utmost importance.
