My husband is Muslim, I live in a Muslim country and I am studying Islam. Is there something specific you would like to know?

I know what I have read in English versions of the Koran, the Hadith, and Sharia. Many of these have been approved by Islamic scholars, but there's no way for me to know if they were lying when they approved them. I have to trust sometimes.
I know what various friends and acquaintances have told me, in explaining their religious beliefs. they also could have lied to me, but the general outlines of the books and the stories of people I've talked with seem to coincide pretty closely.
As far as the details of the religion and its practices, well, there are so many...it'd prepare you for a degree in comparitive religion to know what I could tell you. It's a very very detailed study. I know that in India, where the mullahs are NOT in control, Muslims seem to do well in society and aren't much at war...so maybe there's hope.

Poor Steven McTowellie (answerer above) so full of hate, he can't even read...
The 10 Commandments also apply, since it is the same God.
We must believe and respect all prophets.
We are not told to bomb ourselves to kill non-Muslims, those guys are brain washed....boring.
Jesus is a prophet like others. God has no son or family. If this does not please Christians, sorry, we are not here to please creature, but The Creator. If Jesus was sent to save them from Adam's sin, well in Islam: each person is accounted for his actions, not actions of others. We will not be punished for what Adam did. God forgave Adam, so what sin are they talking about??!!

There is no LOVE for Christians or Jews anywhere in the Koran.
Jesus is denied, and his Message of LOVE has been turned to hate. Do I have to go on?
