There is a shot called a "miss mate" shot. It is about 90% effective but does carry risk. Cost runs about $60

There is none. I just had the same problem last week and the supposed shots people posted on my question is not approved. I asked my vet about it and he won't do it because to many dogs have died using it. At four weeks you can get an ultrasound done to see if your dog is pregnant. If she is and you really don't want her to be spaying is your only alternative otherwise she will have to carry to term. I'm sorry there isn't anything better. I know how frustrating this is.

If you are an American then i am not sure exactly just what you mean by *****. In some of song i have heard in the past ***** is a reference to a female. If this is the case go and see you're General Practitioner. If you are referring to a female of the canine specie then i suggest you pop her along to you're local veterinary surgeon, meanwhile keep her in doors

Yes, there are two ways you can have it done. One and the best way is to have her spayed. Two there is a shot the vet can give. One is 65.00 plus visit and the other is about 30.00 and the visit but she can get caught again with the second. Spaying is permanent.

No, there's not a "morning after pill" per-say, for your dog. You can take her to the vet and see if he'll do an abortion (enjoy hell) but it's actually a very dangerous procedure with dogs and most vets will not perform it (thankfully). Here's an idea: Spay and neuter your pets...Bob Barker says so.

Asking the vet would give you your answer. It's good to hear you are taking responsibility for your pet. Personally I believe desexing is kinder to the animal, termination/abortion is cruel as the animal dosn't know what the hell is going on, animals have a sense of things, and know when they are pregnant.

Gestation for dogs is so short that e.c. is not available. You can have her spayed (if she does happen to be pregnant, they will terminate it for you). If for some reason you do not want her spayed, but do not want her pregnant, most vets will do a termination for you. It will cost a couple hundred dollars either way.

Not to my knowledge. I do know that they can do abortions on cats. We've had it done twice to two different cats.

I'm assuming they can also do it on dogs. You'd have to talk to your vet to be sure. Though i'm not sure also if they can do it without spaying. Both times we did it we also had the cats spayed. Its worth asking about though.

None that I know of. It's better to get her spayed as soon as possible.

It's called having her spayed! Something you should have done already. How many irresponsible owners are on here today?
