Mahal, you are hedging your bets there!

John S, you are living proof that there are other choices to be made...well done!

heir_to_christ:
Did you really get saved? or did you just get too old to keep committing the sins of your youth...I guess age would make it quite a bit easier to refrain from some sins huh!

Neither. To be a "sinner", i'd have to be a Christian to start with, and I'm most definitely not one of those!

Saved Christians are sinners.
But if I had a choice between born-again/fundamentalist/Evangelical Christianity and sinner, I would take the latter.

I have been a saved sinner for over 37 years now.

There was a period of five years when I was not walking with God in that 37 year period, and it was the most miserable.

You obviously have a wrong concept of what being saved is!

You are Christ's child and Jesus loves you and HE will try His level best to save you.. but Christ has given us a choice we can choose it or dent his love for us....
He says in His Word, the gospel will be preached to all nations and then th end will come...
If he was a cruel God he would have enforced his will on you bu the is a loving God...
Accept Him before its too late

i am both also...i mean...everyone sins, weather they are a christian or not. i personally feel everyone should ask God into their heart but to each his own, right? i just dont want to burn in the firey depths. i want to walk the streets of gold and not have a care in the world. i am VERY greatful that God sent his one and only son down to earth and that He died on the cross FOR US.

Being "saved christian does not mean sinless". I am no saved christian, however!
