This girl has(or had) a thing for me. I blew her off because I don't think that I am a good enough guy for her. ( I stoped going to school I smoke and drink ect.. ) Now I cant stop thinking about her. Did I make the right choice of staying out of her life?

If she liked you it really wasn't for you to decide you weren't good enough for her. I suspect you realise you are doing things that aren't good for you and as a result your self-esteem is suffering. You may have missed an opportunity to go out with someone amazing. Is there any way to tell her you regret not having asked her out sooner?

yes. you are a good man. smoking, drinking, etc.? so what! does it stop you from working, being a good member of society? if it interferes with life then, knock it off. SCHOOL its never too late to finish. its much harder. now you have to work and your tired but there are classes to attend and homework to do. this is called life. you have a choice. apply yourself for a few years and be the best man you can or settle for where you are and how you feel about yourself. WELCOME to ADULTHOOD. if you don't think your a good enough person now and cant commit to improving yourself, please wear a condom. because you definitely will not be able to handle working two or three jobs to raise a family or pay for 18 years child support..

You did the right thing. Now do something else that's right. Get back in school, stop smoking and drinking, and be all you can be in life. You are headed in the wrong direction right now so do what i suggest. You'll thank me for this encouragement if you do it now.

Turn yourself around and try to get back with her. I was with a guy that was a complete bum. He smoke, drank, never finished high school...needless to say, I dumped him and now I am married to an incredible man. No woman wants to be with a man who has no drive in life and who won't be able to provide for her.
