Belief penetrates your heart and therefore changes your actions
Knowing only is in your mind. Doesn't affect your actions as much as beliefs do.We behave what we believe

Knowing is a scientific fact based on evidence that is obvious repeatable and testable. Seeing is believing?
Believing- knowing something that is not all the above. I know animals have a sixth sense, but cannot repeat it, test it, or see it. Faith based on personal feelings, experience, or a preponderance of evidence that cannot be proved. Gut feeling?

Knowing is attainment of a thing through the senses and perceived by the mind.
Believing doesn't involve attainment of the thing through the senses, but imagining the thing to be true without attainment in it.

Belief is based on faith. You do not question, you do not seek proofs, you do not experiment and ideally , you have a holy inquisition up and running to discourage any one that shows lack of faith by torturing and burning them should they persist.
Knowledge is based on questioning, studying, experimenting, challenging with new ideas... Its science based.

When one KNOWS one is sure that what one thought is now purely fact. When one believes, most of the time it is just because of blind FAITH (the worst kind of faith).

Knowing is something based on facts.
Believing is trusting in God's truths.
Facts can change.
The truth never does.
Example.
Fact: You have cancer.
Truth: God can heal you.

I think its pretty straight-foward. Knowing implies scientific or experiential certainty, believing does not.
