From the number of replies on this site regarding how Islam is viewed it seems to me that those Christians who condemn the Qur'an haven't bothered to read thier own holy book namely the Holy Bible. If they have they conveniently ignore approx three quarters of the book namely the Old Testament in which Jesus is prophesied - it is also a book full of genocide of tribes surrounding those of Judeah. Open any book of the Old Testament and within its pages are horrors unimaginable carried out in the name of
God.

People should read the Bible before judging the Qur'an. The Qur'an, in contrast to the Bible, condemns warmongering and killing of innocents.

Yes we do this is the only way God speaks to us. He dose not speak in a still small voice in our minds if he did we would not need the bible. We also would speak the same things 1 Cor. 1:10. In the old testament GOD carried out those killings through man. He still dose it to day as punishment for our sins. God controls this world not us. Remember he and us are in a war against Satan. Satan caused all this but he will not win.
Remember God is no respecter of persons. Acts 10:34 Also Isaiah 55:8,9 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. (9) For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways highet than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
God only speakes to us throught his word in these last days.

god promised the land of canaan to abraham and his descendants, but the reason why God did destroy the surrounding nations was because they were involved in disgusting idle worship which in some cases invlved sex orgies and the ritual sacrifice of their children,so to avoid his people [the jews at the time]being contaminated by this these peoples had to be removed. But having said that if a person wanted to worship god in an acceptable way then he would allow them to attach themselves to his people.and the same is true today

Yes, many of them do.

The Old Testament is describing what took place, not giving instructions like the Qur'an does when it instruct husbands to beat their disobedient wives in verse 4:34.

I read the Bible daily. I have read the Koran once and read many reviews of it.

Thank you for posting a fake question in an attempt to rant and rave about your views on Christianity and letting me get two points for it.
