How do energy drinks increase the potency of alcohol?

The energy drink is a stimulant and causes your metabolism to speed up a little bit. This includes speeding up the absorption of alcohol.

it doesn't it just make's u be able to drink more since alchoal is deppresent and caffine is a stimulant so when combined your a wide awake drunk hence u can drink more and party hard trust me I'm a alcholic

Its the caffine !!! Caffine is a stimulant and so is alcohol.
