My ex dumped me about 8 months ago. Since then we dont talk
On New Years Eve she messaged me saying stuff including how she thinks of us everyday and "I love you always". Then on my birthday she sent a message "Happy Birthday :) xxx"
Should I send her a message on her birthday? Part of me says no, but she did the dumping and sent me one - guilt perhaps?

Since she dumped you it kind of seems like she's trying to maneuver her way back into your life. Don't let her. The reasons why you two broke up still stand nothing has changed. Send her a happy birthday text but don't put anything else in it. Let her "decipher" that on her own. Just common courtesy. Good luck!

hey buddy I feel you the case of the ex is tricky but I suggest you tread carefully coz their are still some feelings there I can tell.Sending a birthday text is no big deal unless you give it meaning.Just because she dumps you it doesnt mean that you should not get along.Be cool about it and let go of the hurt and then only then will you start living your life and be able to cope with her.
