CAUSE
This issue may occur if Microsoft Works is not installed correctly on your computer.

RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, remove and then reinstall Works on your computer. To do this, follow these steps.

SYMPTOMS
When you start Microsoft Works 7.0, you may receive an error message that states that the program did not start because the Ltkrn13n.dll file could not be found.

CAUSE
This problem may occur if you previously removed Microsoft Office 2003 or Microsoft Office Trial 2003 from the computer. The problem occurs because the remove routine of Office 2003 incorrectly removes the Ltkrn13n.dll file. The Ltkern13n.dll file is required by Works 7.0.

RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, rename the existing WkImging.dll file that is installed on the computer, and then repair Works 7.0.
